Pavillon Puebla

Located in the Buttes Chaumont park, Pavillon Puebla is the spot where the cool kids of the 19th and 20th districts gather.

Some will say that the 19th and 20th, the most destitute districts of the capital, are in the process of gentrification. They’re not totally wrong. Parisian gentrification takes more time than it does in NYC or London, but the phenomenon is unavoidable. All kinds of artists are slowly but surely migrating close to the Buttes Chaumont and inevitably, some cafés and restaurants in the park are becoming their headquarters. We’re thinking about Rosa Bonheur but more importantly, about Pavillon Puebla.

The terrace overlooks the path which helps you feel like you’re out of Paris

We’re not going to kid ourselves, Pavillon Puebla’s main advantage is its big terrace where it is quite easy to chat and mingle – without relying on any date app – while sipping one drink after the other. The terrace overlooks the path which helps you feel like you’re completely out of Paris, either you’re inside or out in the well decorated restaurant. To try to find the right moment to go party there, just watch for the parisian guy in the metro saying that he would like to go to the Buttes during the weekend but he’s afraid it would be packed. That’s your green light.
