Marché des Enfants-Rouges

‘Small is beautiful’. This micro-market that also houses restaurants confirms the popular saying.

This is certainly not the biggest market, it is certainly not the cheapest, but it is definitely the market that has more charm. It feels so good to have lunch in its restaurants, to enjoy a tagine and to sit down in the shade of the buildings that line the stalls. And then to leave with a bouquet of flowers after crossing this small market where you’ll need to wear sunglasses to remain incognito when buying your country ham.
