BaoHaus

Small Asian street food institution, created by the legendary and somehow egocentric Eddie Huang. Mostly known for its bao sandwiches.

Our dear Eddie lacks neither humor nor attitude, like his restaurant, strongly influenced by streetwear culture. The walls are covered with pictures (some of Eddie himself!) and stickers. The soundtrack is clearly hip-hop, like the channels broadcasted. Don’t be mistaken: the place is not communitarian at all; on the contrary, it’s a melting pot of the best NYC has to offer. A place that exudes trendiness! The slogan of Baohaus is meaningful: ‘fresh off the boat’. It is true that with the first bite you feel transported to a Taiwanese alley’s stall!
